ENTER THE SCHWF MICRO FICTION WRITING COMPETITION
Are you a writer with a passion for storytelling? Would you like to explore themes of how each of us adds light, meaning and connection with each other and the world around us? Sunshine Coast Hinterland invites writers to imagine themselves as part of a larger whole in our theme “Beneath One Sky”.
We are looking for creative, thought-provoking stories that explore this theme, whether through the lens of a personal journey, an environmental perspective, or a powerful human connection. We can’t wait to see how you create living constellations through your writing!
PRIZES
First prize $250 cash + a book pack to the value of $100
Runner up receives a book pack to the value of $100
Winning stories will be published on the SCHWF website.
HOW TO ENTER
Write your micro fiction story (maximum 500 words) inspired by the theme “Beneath One Sky”
You may enter more than once. The entry fee is $10 per submission.
Submit your entry as an attachment in Word format, 12 pt font, double line-spaced, to admin@schwritersfestival.com.au with the subject line ‘SCHWF Micro-fiction Competition’. Include a separate header with your name, story title, email and phone contact details. (If your payment is in a different name, please advise so we can identify it.)
